What We Do
We are a Los Angeles based state-registered non-profit animal rescue with California 501c3 tax exemption. We created our rescue in memory of our loving Chihuahua, Bella, who passed away recently at ten years of age. Our Bellita was one of the biggest blessings in our lives, and we have dedicated our rescue to her in hopes of sharing all the love we have for her with other pups who need it. At Bella's Animal Rescue, we rescue and rehabilitate animals in need, using adoption fees and donations to cover veterinary expenses, food, supplies, medication, etc. We accept foster applications to house our rescues until they are adopted. We would not be where we are today without the support of our incredible fosters and donations from our generous community.

2 YEARS OLD
Odin was going to be euthanized at a local shelter, and he was rescued only a matter of hours before his scheduled euthanasia. Odin has been under our care for a little over a year now. He does have some behavioral issues he is working through, as his past has left him with some triggers that lead to reactionary behavior. However, when given the chance, he will steal your heart. He has had a significant amount of training to help him work through these triggers, and he will need a home to provide him a lot of structure and keep up his training.
2 YEARS OLD
DUTCH SHEPHERD MIX
Brodie was also going to be euthanized at a local shelter, and we helped rescue him about 24 hours before the shelter was going to put him down. He does need an experienced handler, as he does having some behavioral issues he is working through. We have no idea what he has been through, but he does appear to have some types of trauma. However, he can live with another dog in the home. He is very well-trained, and he just needs someone willing to manage him and provide him with structure!
10 WEEKS OLD
GOLD RETRIEVER/BORDER COLLIE MIX
Aurora and her sister were surrendered to us as part of an accidental litter. Their owners needed help finding them safe and loving homes! She is incredibly sweet and does great with other dogs.
ORANGE TABBY KITTEN
We found all alone in a parking lot. He had a severe respiratory infection when we found him, but he is now all better and ready to find his forever home. He is only a few months old, so he is definitely in that playful kitty stage!
10 MONTH OLD BEAGLE
Olive was recently surrendered to us due to her high energy levels. She definitely needs an active owner, or at least a home with a backyard to serve as an outlet for her energy! She is friendly with pups of all sizes, but she needs some time to warm up to them. She can be rather timid with new people she meets.
3 MONTHS OLD
SPECULATED SHEPARD MIX
Toast was found at a construction site, and she was surrendered to us by one of the construction workers at the site. We believe she is about three months old. She is super playful and she gets along with other dogs really well! She is working on her basic obedience, and she does wonderful when meeting new people.
3 MONTHS OLD
Sage was surrendered to us along with her sister at just 8 weeks old. They were part of an accidental litter, and the owners of her parents needed help finding her a safe and loving home! Sage is crate-trained, and she is friendly with dogs of all sizes.
3 MONTHS OLD
Bee was surrendered to us along with her sister Sage due to them being a result of an accidental litter. She is super playful and loves dogs of all sizes. She is a tad bit smaller than her sister, Sage.
1 YEAR OLD
Yeti was surrendered to us on account of his disability. He has been under our care for much over a year now, and since then we have looked into every method of treatment to allow him to use his hind legs to walk. After learning this was not possible, we took every measure possible to ensure that he is able to get around using his back legs, even if it is only by hopping. Unfortunately, his halted motor skills do not enable him to use the bathroom by himself. He will need to be in diapers for the remainder of his life. Nonetheless, he is still a loving and sweet boy. Yeti is a dog that we anticipate will be under the care of our rescue for the remainder of his life unless a very specific individual is willing to take him on.
If you are not ready to adopt a pup yet, consider filling out a foster application! We greatly appreciate all of our fosters.
BECOME A FOSTER
Help us out by becoming a foster!
Your support is important to our work at Bella’s Animal Rescue. We could not do the work that we do without our incredible fosters! Fosters take care of our rescues for a minimum of 1-2 weeks while we find them their forever homes! To foster for us, all you have to do is fill out the foster application. You never have to spend any of your own money! We will provide you with everything our rescue pup will need (food, treats, bed, crate, etc.). Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have in regards to fostering. We are very accommodating! The application is linked below!
MAKE A DONATION
We truly appreciate every penny. We would not be able to rescue pups without the support of our amazing community.
All the donations we receive go toward our pups and their expenses! We never ever make any profit in running our rescue.
